These telemarketing calls.. Which of us have not been subject to them? They always call at odd times and try to sell odd things! Like once a young friend of mine was being haggled to buy a retirement plan, when the poor boy hadn’t even finished college! Ridiculous aren’t they? In a way I won’t mind them were they useful. For example if some grocery mall had their telecallers call me time to time to check if I’d like some fresh supplies, yes! Or for that matter if someone lawn moving service wanted to check if my lawn needs moving, oh thank you!

But they won’t do that would they? Of the dozens of calls I have received maybe one or two useful in 50 calls? That’s right. Useful callers once or twice in over a month of calls. So instead of being useful, they turn into hagglers. What a waste.

It is important to also look at how telemarketing has changed our society and the way we do things. Some advantages are the in-bound call centers. These have helped tremendously; we now get banking and ticketing done among others just by calling. This was not possible many years back.

The clever people of our society with much time on their hands have come up telemarketer pranks, I present one here for your entertainment but would like to hear your ideas on how to prank these guys. I concede that these people are innocent employees trying to make a living, but then again, everyone gets a laugh out of it in the end..
