PREVIEW – ITB Berlin Travel Trade Show
ITB Berlin - The one stop destination for people in the travel and tourism industry. ITB Berlin organizes the largest travel trade show in the world. There are many trade shows but ITB Berlin is the leading and largest travel show. It takes place annually in March in Berlin. This year it is from the 5th to 9th march 2008.
It has 1,80,000 visitors coming from over 180 countries. It is a mega show which covers almost every aspect of tourism industry, such as tour operators, agencies, airlines, hotels, hospitality business, etc.
March sees the tourism season at its peak in Berlin. Everyone from hotels to airlines, to local stores and cab drivers are busy making a quick buck.
The ITB Berlin show is spread over an area so big that the organizers have to organize for shuttles between the halls, so make sure your wearing you most comfortable shoes when you are at the ITB.
If your business is even remotely related to the travel and tourism industry you ought to be in Berlin from 5th to 9th March 2008 to experience this extravaganza.
I love traveling and exploring new places but unfortunately I cannot visit this show this year.
