Simple Ways To A Thinner, More Beautiful You

No this is not one of those posts that tell you about a seemingly miraculous ways to lose like 10 pounds in a week or whatever, this one is full of admiration or disgust (depending upon how you look at it) at what artistry can be worked upon the most ordinary among us to make us look completely different. This is not the artistry of a health consultant, or trainer, or nutritionist or even makeup artist; this is the technical wizardry of the Photoshop expert.
To begin with watch this Extreme makeover which takes several faces and simply transforms them in an absolutely stunning fashion! Skin – flawless! Makeup, perfect! Person? Transformed!
Watch this video and be amazed at how the model’s face is transformed by air brushing or photo shopping or whatever it is that they do: note how a rather plain Jane is transformed into something entirely different. Note how even her teeth are realigned and whitened for the nice toothy grin:
This next one, when it begins seems to be about a good looking albeit unremarkable girl who by sheer genius is transformed into a beautiful, glamorous model. Notice how they change the arch of her brow the curve of her cheek, practically change the proportions of her face, including elongating her neck for heavens sake! That’s a person not a giraffe!
This final one really takes the biscuit, but be warned this is not safe to watch if the boss is around (or if the kids are around which is often the same thing ? ). Watch how this woman starts being like a plus, plus, plus size and is whittled down to a sylph like figure by the end. See how the years and the pounds simply fall away! The hair is lengthened, the skin is smoothened, and the person is rendered unrecognizable! Ah the wonders of modern technology! I am torn between admiration and annoyance that we can’t just let people be, that they have to be made to conform to some mythical, unattainable standard of beauty, and who made this standard anyway!
